We are deeply saddened by the passing of Candan Dumanlı, former Ankaragücü player and coach. Dumanlı played for Ankaragücü for many years, was a symbol of the club, and even wore the Turkish national team's jersey twice. He started his coaching career at Altay in the 1978/79 season and went on to work with many teams, including Mersin İdman Yurdu and Petrolofisi, helping both teams earn promotion to the Süper Lig (then 1. Lig). Dumanlı retired after working at Eskişehirspor in the 1996/97 season. In honor of Candan Dumanlı's passing, a minute's silence will be observed before all professional league matches on 27, 28 February, 1, and 2 March. Additionally, teams can wear black armbands if they wish. We offer our condolences to the family, loved ones, Ankaragücü, and the football community.
