Ankaragücü's new president Nuri Muhammet Yaman has been elected. Yaman was elected as the president of the club in the extraordinary general assembly. In his speech at the congress, Yaman said, 'Today, we gathered to revive hope and start a new era that will be written in the history of Ankaragücü, which will rise from its ashes.' Yaman said that Ankaragücü is not just a football team, but it represents the struggle of this nation, the memory of the War of Independence, and the honor of Ankara. Yaman said, 'Unfortunately, this great community is not in its rightful place at the moment. This situation is not just a sports result, but it's a painful blow to the hearts of millions.' Yaman said, 'But everyone should know that Ankaragücü is the team that knows how to get back up from where it fell. We fell, but we will get back up stronger and better.'
