Ankaragucu Aims for Championship Title

Ankaragucu coach Recep Karatepe stated that the team is aiming for the championship title. Karatepe said, 'This team has to pursue the championship next year, we need to play for the championship.'

Season evaluation

Karatepe recalled that the team had a 33-match adventure with the yellow-blue team this season, saying, 'There were many disadvantages, such as changes in the presidency, player squad structure, and elections. However, the correct attitude shown by Ankaragucu as a community was actually a season in which the right foundations were laid.'

Goals

Karatepe, who stated that many problems were overcome during the season, said, 'When I started my duty at the beginning of the season, the community had different fears. As a football man who has worked in the Super League and 1st League for many years, it was not possible for me to work in a place without a target. After I arrived, we drew a road map that was completely focused on the play-off target, with no discussion about relegation.'

New season plans

Karatepe, who wants to achieve the target with the players in MKE Ankaragucu's own squad, made an assessment, saying, 'This team has to pursue the championship next year, we need to play for the championship.' Karatepe also stated that the capital team will start their new season camp on July 15, and there will be an 8-week, two-stage camp process, with plans for a camp abroad as well.
